The Institute for Law and Economic Policy is a public policy research and educational foundation -- a think tank -- established to preserve, study, and enhance access to the civil justice system by all consumers.
The goal of the Institute for Law and Economic Policy (ILEP) is to formulate policy positions on issues involving the administration of civil justice within the American legal system.
These issues include existing legal protections of all consumers and protection of the public interest in maintaining a safe environment. In addition, ILEP has especially focused on issues of government regulation, preservation of competition, and free and fair markets.
ILEP is a not-for-profit corporation with tax deductible 501(c)(3) status.
